Generators

Generators

Ships need energy both during the time they are at the port and when they are traveling. This energy is met by generators. Energy is generated by the dynamo on the shaft, which rotates at a constant speed. The shaft must rotate for the propeller to rotate while the ship is moving. Thanks to this shaft, energy production takes place.

To use this system, the ship must be of a certain size. Also, a certain navigation routine must be captured for the system to start-up and start energy generation.

Generators used for electricity generation are referred to as shaft generators. Because electricity is generated by the rotation of the dynamo connected between the shaft and the propeller. Therefore, to switch to electricity generation, a certain speed must remain constant for a long time.
